Union Films Revamp

Over the Easter break, a crack team of Union Films Re-decorators have blitzed the office. You will not recognise it! Its so nice, most of the rest of the union want to move in... Check out the photos below of the work we have done!

A blank canvas

We spent two days emptying the office. We took everything but the big desk and a spooling bench out. We then painted the walls. It was around this time we remembered that Mike had his digital camera and that we didnt take any photographs before we started... Anyway, here is what the office looked like all bare!

The film strip

To make sure everyone knows we are a cinema, lest you forget when you sit in the office for long periods of time, sipping beer... we have painted a great big film strip down the back wall. Here is a step by step account of its creation!

The Hatch

Having painted the office, the hatch looked very tatty. We had a lot of black gloss paint left over, so naturally it got painted.

Finished!

Five ten-hour days, four tins of paint, six paint brushes, three rollers, loads of masking tape, one lost cat and much banter later and the offfice is finished. It still needs a little bit of tidy and these photos don't really do it justice, but you'll see it soon enough!
